Mediation Simulations where Artificial Intelligence plays the Parties
Resologics has developed a series of mediation role plays that are designed to be a fun learning experience for all experience levels of mediators. You (the human) play the mediator, and the AI (OpenAI’s ChatGPT) plays the parties.
The various scenarios are each designed to challenge the mediator to use specific tools in order for the mediation to progress and potentially end in an agreement for the parties. Although it may not seem like it as you are playing the mediator, all scenarios are designed to allow the AI parties to come to some type of agreement.
These Role Plays are Design To Be:
Fun and entertaining
A learning experience
Confidential
A safe place to explore using new tools
A safe place to fail and try again as many times as you would like to
Shareable: transcripts can be forwarded to a colleague, mentor, or your own AI, for reflective debriefing
Accessable 24/7/365

Some Advice & Cautions:
Keep your interactions concise. The free version allows you 40 or so posts before it shuts down for 3 hours.
Current Simulations will allow all models of mediation, and Resologics advises that for the best experience for you and the AI that you use the Facilitative Model as much as possible.
The version of AI used here does not have emotions, and it is capable of understanding, projecting, and working through emotions with you and the other party.
Beyond the brief introductions for each simulation, no other intake information is available to you before you start the mediation.
Mediators can ask the AI to “revert back to post #___” and the parties will restart the conversation at that post, and will forget anything said previously.
If you get an error message, type anything into the text box and press enter. That should fix it.
